12:12 am [Link]	Speed is the essence of war... So. Um. Finally cleaned out my "To Burn To Disk" folder and freed up 75gb. hehee. Whoops. NOW TO FILL IT WITH MVIDDING. MWAHAHAAA. (well I need to do something to make up for that POS space olympics. Yeesh) Goffeee, afore I forget, pester me. I has new VNV for you. (and this track in particular I fucking love - it's a hardcore EBM rave with Ronin quoting Sun Tzu's Art of war) Work goes up and down and drives me bugshit at times. Apparently as I am not stressing and pulling out my hair and eating cigarettes like candy, I am not aware of the gravity of what I am dealing with. Of course I am, dipshit. I just save stressing for things in life that I know are, oh, I don't know, out of my control. This is not one of them. Bugger ye off. shakes tiny fish Hoping weather holds out this weekend. I've got a planter bed to redesign, a water tank to move and other foofs to faff about with before it starts getting time to start cultivating seedlings for the herb garden. There's starting to be vestigial traces of sunlight when I knock off work now! horrors apart from that, nothing much. Overworked, underappreciated, planning hallowed weenies and eyeing off that tricorder. It will be mine. Oh yes.... ...right after I get those glow in the dark pool balls. Not only were we Aussies fortunate enough to get Children of Earth broadcast down here a few hours after the UK over the week, UKTV are currently marathoning the entire thing for the Saturday Night viewing. THIS PLEASES KITTY Even though I've already seen it and wish RTD to be sodomised with a broken pint glass, I'm watching. And hoping like hell this scores massive ratings - because it increases the likelihood in the future for telecasts to sync up this soon (they're already making moves of this ilk with Doctor Who) BBC has finally noticed that 8 month broadcasting times just don't fucking cut it any more. Evidently I am edibl - yesterday was the honking snot-drizzled body aches, last night was fever and blargies. and this morning....well I don't remember much about that. I hope torasin or I called in sick..... Conked for around 18 hours, currently schlepping about trying not to throw up the snot that's backwashed. Ughh. And playing with my new shineh - got a DVD/VCR recorder the other day (they didn't have my damned laptop last weekend, so we upped the getting of the unit instead) and I'm merrily dubbing over my giant farking archive of taped material. Anyone want Weird science eps? No? La Femme Nikita? No? Flodders films? :D :D (apart from you, moonmip) I'd forgotten how freaking funny Weird Science (the SERIES) was. I kinda like it. -- There is a new ad running down here with goths going nuts on space hoppers. If it's attempting to be out of the ordinary, or edgy: it fails. We all know what happens when you give a goth any sort of new toy to play with.... --- I has bought a new (read: non-parental) copy of Robots of Dawn. The cover is delightfully fucked up - a mix between the classic "wtf?" 70's sci fi covers, and something from a harlequin. God dammit, if I didn't already ship Daneel/Giskard (AND YOU KNOW IT'S TRUFAX), I'd be tempted ...goddammit ---- Offered to make a chain mail posing pouch for a co-worker to wear when cricketing. This workplace definitely has possibilities :P ----- I now has a Bashir (Trials and Tribble-ations model) to go with the myriad of other figurines dotting my office.
